Shot 4 turkeys in 4 different states with this ammo, CO, OK, MI, NM, and watched my friend use my shotgun 45 yd tom. All went straight down instantly. No need for magnums. Just use your old 870!! Love it. Please make more and let me know when !

Excellent stuff. It seems ridiculous at first to pay $12-$15 a shot, but when you think about the time and effort alone of getting up and into position before the turkeys get up, or flying/traveling to another state (flights and rental car to hunt grandpa’s farm), it’s well worth it to know nothing you hit is getting away. 2 shots, 2 turkeys. I got my first using a 12 gauge instead of a 410, and I helped my brother get his first turkey with one of these as well. Now there’s a tss shell hanging under his turkey fan. Functioned perfectly in my old merkel shotgun that only takes 2 3/4 shells, no scraping of the inside of the barrel. I like the paper seal in the front and these shells just feel nice. I took for granted basic functionality of a shotgun shell but I have had others where half the shells in the box leaked pellets out the front through a poor crimp, which is beyond irritating. They are the only company providing tss in a 2 3/4 shells so I will be stocking up. Thanks for great memories Apex!

After lots of research, we decided to try these out and am extremely happy with the product. Shot a large Tom at 15 yards and he dropped right there. Will use again for seasons to come.

Fixed Full Ithaca Featherlight is lights out pattern with these to 50yards. Have only used in woods at 17 yards. It’s a hammer. Love the 2 3/4” option for old guns.

Number 9 shells 2 and 3/4 inches. Have shot turkeys out to 40 yards. They drop in their tracks. Even with body shots.
Guessing Will go much further. No kick and dead birds. Unbelievable. Use old double Barrell. Full and modified chokes.

I bought these on a whim since I could not find any 2-3/4 Longbeard XR. I bought the #9 shot shells. Man am I glad I did. I was on a Turkey hunt in Oklahoma and called in one to about 40yds. This round did not disappoint. It dropped him like a ton of bricks. I am very impressed by this non magnum shell. If you have an older shotgun chambered in 2-3/4 this is a perfect choice

I bought these to try something "different" in my Stevens 301 turkey(12g). I tried 3 different chokes as well and it gave similar results to Fed Tss in 2 of my chokes, but in a .660 Carlsons LBXR...the results were incredible! 429 hits in a 10" circle at 40yd! Safe to say I'll be carrying these in the woods this spring! PS: don't let the length fool you, these are loaded magnum and pack the recoil to contend with any 3" shell out there.
