I wanted to bring my old 870 out of retirement that I killed my first turkeys with over 30 years ago. This Apex TSS turned a tame old 20 gauge into a turkey killing machine!

I set up 20 gauge to shoot this spring, and I have been itching to test it out on something other than a target. I absolutely hammered one last week in Alabama. He was 35 yards; he never knew what hit him. Honestly, I get good patterns with this load out to 50 yards. Thanks.

The patterns I am getting from the 2 3/4 inch #9's are impressive, even to 50 yards. I wouldn't knowingly push past 50, but 50 is solid for patterning and penetration. Spring 2024 will be the first year I change over to the 20 gauge, but from what I am seeing from the patterns, I think the change will be permanent.

One word ‘awesome’! My 8 year old son shot his first 2 gobblers this season with this load. Can’t say enough about apex ammunition. Been using it for the past 2 season and
Will continue to be a faithful to apex.

Excellent pattern from Tristar youth with Primos TSS choke. The reduced recoil was important for 9 yr old shooter.
